Man oh mannnn. Bought an old home, found out the corrosion on the pipes masked the broken parts. When I say disaster I mean disgusting. The Servistar pros saved the day. From sun up to down. Was it a tad more expensive than I wanted to pay for? Yes, but who WANTS to pay for plumbing issues? Nobody. When I say those pipes were done up right. I mean wow!!! Water heater completely flatlined on us and finding someone who could actually fix it right away felt like a mission, when we were staring down days of freezing cold showers with a full house. Servistar came through right on time, diagnosed a shot burner instantly, and actually had the replacement parts sitting right there in his truck. He did not try to pressure us into buying an expensive brand new unit we clearly did not need. We live in an older house and although the plumbing was redone sometime in the 90's, it still has its set of problems. These problems always seem to happen over a holiday or long weekend lol.

Thankfully I found Servistar a few years back and can always count on them to come out quickly without charging hundreds of dollars extra just for prompt "emergency" service. Michael and Daniel are the absolute sweetest best. Another great plus is my boys love them and will watch patiently and quietly while they work. Hey, free babysitting thrown into the mix always works for me!

Excellent service from Mike, They were able to come out on a Sunday night and took care of a drain blocked by root balls that you could see on camera and that came out on the snake. They provided a very reasonable quote to hydro jet the line the following day. I have a 20+ year old Bradford White gas water heater that I wanted replaced before next year when electric heaters may be required. Servistar was one of the BW recommended experts. I called up and a couple of guys showed up to look at the job. Subsequently, the manager called up with more information. The two men returned to complete the job efficiently and left with everything neat. They also installed a faucet to a deep laundry sink. I thought they would have to pull the sink out to get at the faucet, but they managed to do it in place. Their quote was the most detailed I have seen for any job. My husband is a commercial builder, so we have incredibly high standards for trade work and look at contractor quotes with a magnifying glass. We knew the old cast iron sewer line under our slab was failing, and another company said the only fix was jackhammering our entire hallway floor. I called Servistar to see if we could do a structural epoxy coating instead. The team came out right away, hydro jetted the line, and used a specialized chain tool before applying the coating. I ended up having a pipe leak that damaged part of my ceiling during the night. Luckily Servistar was quick to respond and came in asap the next morning and went straight to work! They were both really professional and thorough. They were able to get my pipes replaced within 2 hours and even gave me advice for a different plumbing question that I had. 8 days without water; different company spent several hours over 3 different days but could not identify the problem. Michael returned my call promptly on a late Saturday afternoon, Daniel was there shortly thereafter. He found the problem quickly and put a plan in place to our relief! We had a full-on sewer line catastrophe, and they saved us. We called him in a panic for a hydro-jet emergency, and he showed up right away. Turns out, the whole sewer line had collapsed. He walked us through everything--tried to avoid a full replacement--but yeah, we needed one. The terrain was brutal, and past plumbers made a mess, but Michael powered through. He got it done in a week, made sure we understood the whole deal, gave us a fair price, and said this new line should last about 150 years. We'll check back in a century, right? We needed full replacement of the sewer drain system of our 1600 sq. ft. house. The crew replaced the entire system under the house and out to the sidewalk in 2 days. Very timely and responsive. Michael was wonderful! He arrived right on time and his visit was quick and helpful. He solved our main problem in the kitchen within a matter of minutes, and was able to give guidance on next steps for a separate irrigation issue in our back yard as well. My main sewer line under the kitchen slab was backed up badly and the initial diagnostic showed our old cast iron pipe was completely rotting out from the inside. I thought the crew would have to jackhammer through my concrete floors inside our home in Burbank which would have been an absolute nightmare. Instead the guys explained they could do an epoxy coating completely from the toilet line and an outside clean out. They started with a heavy hydro jetting to clear the debris and then used a specialized chain drill with a diamond tip to reinstate the rough pipe walls. Looking at the camera footage after the lining cured was incredible because it looks brand new. Our hot water heater stopped working and we couldn't get the pilot light to light or stay lit. It's an older unit so we figured it might be done. We had another company come out first and the quote they gave us to replace it was high so we called Servistar Plumbing for a second opinion and they showed up within the hour, thank God they are close to Studio City.

Daniel was our tech and he was great, super honest and straightforward. He explained what was going on clearly and didn't try to sell us anything we didn't need. I had a tankless water heater issue and I found them thru a quick google search! Servistar responded and were able to send someone out next workday. Team professionally answered my many questions and offered range of solutions. Recently I learned I needed to replace a 60 foot 70 year old sewer line at a tenant occupied house. I researched several plumbing companies and decided on these plumbers in Sherman Oaks. My concern was the fact that I was going to be out of town when the work took place. I asked my son to monitor the work while I was gone. The project was done quickly and efficiently. Each day I received a text, including a photo, of the men coming to work that day. At the completion I received numerous photos at various stages of the replacement. Had my sewer pipe clogged just from time and use. Called these folks Friday at noon and sent one of their best employees for the job and arrived in a few hours. Got a good price quote to also replace 2 toilets. Daniel was the plumber that came through and worked hard on a Friday night with a 5:30P.M. arrival time! The supervisor Micheal came out to my house later in the evening to help Daniel out and finished the job by 1015p.m. Michael did recommend a "clear out" and showed me w detailed video cam of my sewage pipes 75FT. down. I was impressed with their overall patience, professionalism and hard work! Will use them again in the future!
